Some impromptu street photos while avoiding elderly men shuffling about on canes with my girl Em. Sometimes it hits me just how many amazing people I have met through blogging - it seems like such a long time ago that I was blogging through random people's subdomains and wearing exclusively musty thrifted clothes.
It's crunch time at uni. The usual - except this is the last time ever. I've officially attended my final university class this morning, and as of next Tuesday, I'll be assignment-free and school-free for the rest of my life. It's bizarre. I was speaking to a friend of mine from uni, and we were just commenting on how back in year 12, upon high school graduation, you looked at photos of yourself in year 7 and thought 'Wow, little Jess was so different. What a slug. I would punch 13 year old me', and now, as a third year university student, looking back and thinking on first year Jess has the same effect. Three years vs. five, and equal, if not more, change. It's terrifying how much change has happened in such a short span of time. I don't think it's finally hit me that I'm never going back to an educational institution, while the majority of my friends my age are still slugging away at 5 year commerce/law/engineering/medicine courses. This will probably be one of the last times I procrasti-blog. Here's to never going through fifteen media power readings again.
