Beyond the Sea

This photo is impossibly beautiful. I'd like to think this is what Ariel looks like when she became human...that is, a brunette, blinged-up version of Ariel. Those jewelled, embellished high-waisted hot pants look like they're an extension of her body, almost like a natural mineral mutation. With that grainy film effect and the dark dusk tones, this is one of the most striking photos from a fashion editorial I've come across in a while.

Beyond the Sea by Chris Nicholls for Flare Magazine. Styled by Elizabeth Cabral, Model: Bekah Jenkins. Hair and makeup: Simone Otis. Via Fashion Gone Rogue

Some goodness I've had on repeat:

I went into Doll House for a Sherri Hill dress and I had the worst time. The staff was rude and no help to me they made me feel as if I didn’t belong into their store. I well never return there and I am glad I didn’t purchase my dress from that store.
