Mass Destruction

Monday, October 10, 2011 // Labels: ,

A few readers have e-mailed me and asked me to take an outfit photo straight before or straight after uni (I usually put on all the outfits I've worn in the past few weeks and shoot them all in one day with my wonderful photographer, Vinh, because I'm not happy with the lens I own and don't always have time to document my outfit on the day I wear it). So, I did exactly that. Here I am in all my dishevelled glory, immediately after a day at uni.

Blazer: Zara
Leggings: New Slicks by Black Milk Clothing
Circle scarf: Gift from Linda
Grey Suede Wedge Boots: Sportsgirl (on sale for $20, WHAT UP)
Bag: Market HQ (This is fast becoming my new go-to tote for uni)
Earring/knuckle rings: ASOS
Green stone ring: Equip

After my first huge paycheck two weeks ago (7 days of work at three different jobs results in too many boost juices and one massive influx of money), I did what any normal person would do; I spent it all. I abused the 'add to cart' button more than I abuse these beautiful Black Milk leggings. I had an online shopping blackout and woke up about $500 emptier.

The postman decided to be kind to me today and dumped half of my purchases on my doorstep, which resulted in about two hours after uni lost in a sea of packaging and a very happy Jess. My shopping shame is now hidden under the bed away from the disapproving eyes of my mother. Here is the 'before' photo....and then the 'after' photo - witness the carnage and destruction that awaits any package that finds itself in my hands.

Love the snakeskin blazer and those boots are gorgeous! One good thing about having more than one job is that you get a lot of money and I guess, different kinds of experiences, and of course, great online shopping sprees! x

Haha when I get online purchases I have to be super sneaky and get home before her and hide it all in my room otherwise I'll get another lecture about spending all my savings and not saving for the future.

Show us what you bought!

Adore the scene of the shopping carnage. I've been eyeing those Asos pumpkin hued platforms, can't wait to see you dolled up in them!

I just don't understand how you manage to find cheap wedges in size 7.5 all the time. That's my size, bitch. Stop snatching them all.
