Wearing the pants.

Wore this to study. That's all I ever do these days anyway. I seem to be studying every single waking moment (except now, obviously), but it still doesn't feel like enough. And how come libraries are so depressing? I used to be in love with the library, now it's like hell in a building.





Blouse: Thrifted.
Tapered high waisted rolled up pants: Thrifted.
Beat up, abused oxfords: Big W.
Trench coat that makes me feel like a Russian spy: Birthday present from my best friend.
Belt: Thrifted.
Bag: Thrifted.
Watch and bracelet: Thrifted.

This is the first time I've worn pants. Ever. Like pants pants. Pants. As soon as I stepped out of my room my sister's jaw dropped to the floor and she was left mute and discombobulated. That's how insane me being in pants is. And I mean real pants. Not my obsession with wearing leggings as pants. Or jeans. But PANTS. WOW. My best friend and I have this ongoing thing where he things it's funny to call me a skank. I've been talking about trying out the cuffed, high waisted, tapered pant look lately and he just thinks it's a joke, because in his words: "sluts don't wear pants". This is proof that I am DEAD. SET. SERIOUS.

Not to mention that pants are extremely comfortable, warm, and there's no risk of me running around flashing my underwear for the world to see, being the awkward, uncoordinated retard I am.



I'm on the hunt for a new pair of oxfords too. Look at these poor babies. Stained with coffee, the sole is barely there. I wear them to work, to school, everywhere. So the amount of abuse afflicted to these kind of makes me sad. What can you expect though, for a pair of shoes from Big W for $20?
