Goodies
Today marks the first day of my months and months and months (and what seems like forever) of the end of my thrifting drought.
Reason I was in a drought: I had no money. How crazy is that? Not having enough money to THRIFT.
The reason does not matter. The fact of the matter is: I was in a thrifting drought. For a very, very long time. Thrifting is like a drug to me, second hand shops are my second home. I cannot describe how much of an intense love and appreciation for life that I feel when I thrift. I'm probably coming off as nuttier than a jar of peanut butter, but its true. I'll devote a whole post to rambling on about how much I love it, and maybe even write up a list of tips and shit later on.
So, I went thrifting today. I was in a drought, and it rained. The rain wasn't a flood, more of a light drizzle, but its enough to satisfy my intense hunger...for now. What I got:

A framed photo of a french couple kissing, $2.

Black satchel, $5. I know I have a bit too many bags sourced from second hand shops, its kind of an addiction thats spiralling out of control, but I couldn't help myself. I didn't have a black satchel before anyway!

This kind of strange deer headband thing, $1.

Gorgeous tooled wallet, $2. It says "MK", which I assume are someone's initials, but its so well crafted and the interior is so lovely, I had to buy it. I needed a new wallet anyway! I swear I won't use the justification "I needed a new ____ anyway!" again (in this entry).

Sunflower scarf, $1. Scarves = good. Sunflowers = great.

French-English dictionary, $1. I don't speak French, but I do intend to speak it fluently one day.
